You've worked hard to make your little family into a breeding ground of love, laughter, and growth. You deserve to have that story captured in the form of photographs. I want to help you adorn your walls with snippets of your messy and beautiful life. Because I believe that choosing to sacrifice and share your heart with a family that you have created is one of the bravest things you can do.
Family sessions are $350. We'll be photographing for about an hour (sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more) either out in nature or at home in your family's favorite spaces. I'll get to know you before our shoot with a brief questionnaire and we'll plan dates, locations, and times. On the day of our shoot, I'll have you play games, snuggle, laugh, and you'll be feeling totally natural by the time we're through.
1. What does the session include?
The $350 includes the photo session time, 25 complimentary 4x6 prints from your session, a downloadable gallery of your jpegs (usually around 60+) with easy print options, and admission into my exclusive referral club.
2. What if I want to print photos?
Great! The gallery I send you has easy ordering options. The prints are fulfilled from a professional print lab--one who only works with professional photographers and has the most amazing color quality. I've done a lot of research into the best quality products for the most affordable prices and have them available from the gallery. You are also welcome to save your jpegs and print elsewhere. You'll have a full print release.
3. Is it worth it to print through the gallery you send?
I believe that print quality matters. I like to take care of you from the second you've scheduled a shoot, to the moment you hang your photos on your wall. That being said, not all print labs are created equal! I've spent a lot of time finding a great print lab that offers products and quality that I believe in. I know they do a great job. However, there are other great labs out there too. If you want to print elsewhere, I am happy to run ideas by you of good/less good places.
4. What should we wear?
I'll send you a detailed guide when you book, but a couple of hard and fast rules are: avoid super thin stripes (create optical illusions in camera), avoid being too matchy with each other, and beautiful flowy clothing items are always wonderful.
5. When will we get our photos back?
My turn around time is just two short weeks!
